A man has been arrested in Lurgan after an altercation involving a knife.

Police in Lurgan said they arrested the man following the incident in North Street.

Constable Nigel Kielty said: “Around 6.20pm on Wednesday, 13 May, two men were involved in an altercation and one of them had a knife in his possession. A 44-year-old man was later arrested and subsequently released on bail pending further enquiries.

“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has information in relation to it. We can be contacted in Lurgan on 101, quoting ref: 935 130515.”
