'˜No offence committed' say PSNI after online reports of attempted child abduction

Reports were shared on social media that there had been an attempt to abduct a child in the Derrytrasna area near Lurgan on Friday.

However a PSNI spokesperson said: “Police received reports of a suspicious approach on Pier Rampart Road on Friday 03 February but following enquiries it was established no offence was committed.”
