A search of a house uncovered cannabis and counterfeit £10 notes, Craigavon Magistrates Court heard last Wednesday.
Thirty two year old Keith Jenkinson, Claremont Park, Moira, admitted possession of the drug and notes on January 25 this year.
The court heard police found the items after they searched his home under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Jenkinson admitted the drug was his and had cost him £15. He claimed that a friend had given him the counterfeit notes before Christmas but he did not use them because the quality was so poor.
A solicitor for the defendant said he thought twice about using the notes and they had sat in his house for some time.
The case was adjourned until September 4 so that a pre-sentence report could be obtained.
