A 16 year old boy is being treated for head injuries after a motorcycle crash this afternoon.
The collision, not far from St Teresa’s Primary School in Tarry Lane, happened at around 12.45pm today, according to the PSNI
The PSNI in Craigavon said a mini moto motorcycle was seized.
The boy was rushed to hospital via ambulance.
A spokesperson for the hospital told the Mail late this afternoon: “A young male was brought to Craigavon’s Emergency Department and he is still there at present.”
The PSNI said: “This was outside a primary school over lunchtime!
“Unbelievably the rider was not wearing a helmet and was very fortunate not to be seriously injured or killed.
“This highlights the dangerousness of such activity and mini motos / scramblers should be used in a responsible manner.”
