LOCAL director Darren Lee’s latest music video for Microlip is a YouTube smash with more than 6,000 hits since it went live on Sunday.
Darren directed the video of the Microlip’s latest single ‘Making Money’. The video which was shot in Portadown featured local fans raising the roof at Bennetts Bar and Shameless actor Aaron McCusker.
The video went live on YouTube on Sunday and quickly notched up thousands of hits.
Microlip were formed in 2008 and have had four singles playlisted by all of the commercial radio stations in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The band have also played alongside international acts such as; The Script, Two Door Cinema Club, Ed Sheeran and The Feeling to name only a few.
And it isn’t the first time Darren’s music videos have been a success.
Just recently the award-winning director was been blown away by the massive success of his video for Shauna Tohill’s song ‘Can’t Keep Up’.
The song had been enjoying huge success as the backing track to the hugely successful Discover NI TV ad campaign.
