Thomas Cathal Lawless

The death took place on February 27 of Thomas Cathal (Tommy) Lawless, 180 Ballyoran Park, Portadown.

He was the husband of Margaret and father of Susan.

Also regretted by his brother Fr Brendan and the Kelly family.

His funeral was on Friday to the Church of St John the Baptist, Drumcree, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Margaret Rose O’Neill

The death took place on February 27 of Margaret Rose O’Neill, 12 Derryvore Lane, Portadown.

She was the wife of the late Arthur.

Her funeral was on Friday to St Patrick’s Church, Derrymacash, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Gwen Gates

The death took place peacefully at Hockley Mews Nursing Home on March 1 of Gwen Gates, late of Glandore Gardens, Portadown.

She was the wife of Eric, mother of Colin and Jennifer, mother-in-law of Sharon and a loving grandmother and great grandmother.

Her funeral was on Sunday to Epworth Methodist Church, Portadown, with interment in Seagoe Cemetery.

Martha Jane Haffey

Martha Jane Haffey, 12 Creenagh Road, Loughgall, died peacefully at hospital on March 1.

She was the wife of the late George and mother of Tommy, Minnie, Martha, Evelyn, William, Margaret, Norman and George. A dear mother-in-law she was a grandmother to 18 grandchildren and a great grandmother to 21 great grandchildren.

Her funeral was on Sunday to St Aidan’s Parish Church, Grange, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

James Kilpatrick

The death took place peacefully at home on February 28 of James (Jim) Kilpatrick, 71 Ulsterville Park, Portadown.

He was the husband of Levina, father of Jacqueline, Trevor and Paul, father-in-law of Lawrence and Arlene, granda of Linzi, Claire, Jonathan, partner Mariam, Andrea and great granda of Khloe.

His funeral was on Sunday to Seagoe Parish Church with interment in the adjoining graveyard.

Arthur Whiteside

The death took place peacefully at hospital on February 28 of Arthur Whiteside, son of the late Harry and Florence, 132 Summerisland Road, Annaghmore, Portadown.

He was the brother of Jean, Florence and Mildred and the late Edmond and Harry.

Deeply regretted by sisters, brothers-in-law Joe, Raymond and Wilfie, nephews Philip and Denver and all the family circle.

Thelma Ann Buckley

Thelma Ann Buckley, 130 Mullalelish Road, Richhill, died peacefully at home on March 2.

She was the wife of the late Wilbur, mother of Thelma and Jack and mother-in-law of Sharon.

Also regretted by sister Betty and her partner Mervyn and nephews Jeffrey and Adrian and families.

Her funeral was on Monday to St Matthew’s Parish Church with interment in the Orchard Cemetery.

Brian McKinney

The death took place suddenly at Craigavon Area Hospital on March 2 of Brian McKinney, husband of the late Shirley, formerly of Austin Drive, Tandragee.

he was the father of Andrew and Amber and grandfather of Ryan and Alfie.

Also regretted by brothers Norman, Colin and Adrian and the late Clifford, sister Myrna, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.

A service of thanksgiving for Brian’s life was held in Tandragee Methodist Church on Tuesday with interment in Banbridge New Cemetery.

Roy Symington

The death took place on March 3 after an illness of Roy Symington, 23 Brownstown Road, Portadown.

He was the husband of Betty and father of Colin and Keith.

His funeral was on Tuesday to Bethany Free Presbyterian Church with interment in Kernan Cemetery.

Ita Murphy

The death took place on March 2 of Ita Murphy, 32 Ballyoran Heights, Portadown.

She was the wife of Harold and mother of Anita and Louise.

Her funeral was on Monday to the Church of St John the Baptist, Drumcree, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
