David Thompson

The death took place peacefully at his home on January 24 of David Thompson, Lavery’s Bridge Road, Moira.

He was the husband of Betty and father of David, Roy and the late John.

Also remembered by daughter-in-law Lesley, Janet, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His funeral was on Sunday to St James Church, Lower Kilwarlin, with interment in St John’s Upper Kilwarlin Churchyard.

Alphonsus Brady

The death took place suddenly on January 27 of Alphonsus (Ala) Brady.

He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Brady, Shore Road, Lurgan.

He was the brother of Maureen, Teresa, Gerald and the late Michael, Pat, Desmond and Nora.

Also regretted by brother-in-law Bertie, sisters-in-law Una and Bridie, nephews and nieces and the family circle.

His funeral is today (Thursday) to St Peter’s Church with interment in Dougher Cemetery.

Rosetta McCartan

Rosetta McCartan died peacefully at the Southern Area Hospice on January 26.

She was the wife of the late Damian McCartan, Old Kilmore Road, Lurgan.

Mother of Colm and Paul she was the mother-in-law of Lorraine and nanny of Amy, Adam and Jack.

Also regretted by sister Margaret (Morris), brother-in-law John, brother Michael, sister-in-law Frances and family circle.

Her funeral was on Wednesday to St Peter’s Church and afterwards to Roselawn Crematorium.

Joseph Norman Watt

The death took place peacefully at the Southern Area Hospice on January 26 of Joseph Norman Watt, Drumgor Park, Craigavon.

He was the husband of Rosaleen, father of Norman and Marion and grandfather of Mark, Christopher, Michael, Jack, Ruby and Scarlett.

His funeral was on Tuesday to St Anthony’s Church with cremation in Roselawn Crematorium.

Anne Bunting

Formerly of Lurgan, Anne Bunting, nee McConville, late of Hawthorne Street, Belfast, died on January 28.

Her funeral was on Wednesday to Sacred Heart Church with interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

Margaret Lavery

The death took place suddenly in Benedorm on January 24 of Margaret Lavery, wife of Michael, Victoria Gardens, Lurgan.

She was the mother of Maria, Anna, Damian and Brendan and granny of Raichael, Aoife, Aaron, Eimear and Finnian.

John Loughran

John (Jackie) Loughran died peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on January 28.

Husband of the late Mary Teresa, Prospect Way, Lurgan, he was the father of Gerard, Jane, Seamus, Peter, John and the late Dermot.

His funeral is today (Thursday) to St Paul’s Church with interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Michael Maye

Michael Maye, husband of Cherise, Clonmeen, Craigavon, died suddenly on January 27.

Father of Michael and Caiomhe he was the son of Kathleen and Stephen and brother of Paul and Conor.

His funeral is today (Thursday) to St John’s Church, Lylo, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
