Lurgan and Brownlow libraries are to have their house slashed in the latest cost cutting exercise.

Lurgan Libraries hours will be cut from 57 hours per week to 50 while Brownlow Library will have its hours cut from 40 to 35.

However Moira Library will have its hours increased from 18 to 25.

Many of the cuts in hours have been in place temporarily since November and are either being cut further.

A public consultation on the proposed revised opening hours will take place from 18 February 2015 to 17 April 2015.
