Children at Little Rays Nursery are enjoying a shiny new building at the Moira Nursery after a £250,000 investment which will see eight jobs created and the capacity of the nursery increased from
63 to 110.

The group, situated across three sites in Northern Ireland (Moira, Lisburn and Ballymena) was established in 1993 by owner/manager Michelle Rea and now provides day care for over 300 children, including 18 funded places in the playgroup, and employs almost 100 staff.

Michelle said: ‘There was a very definite demand for more space at our Moira Nursery, but given our busy location, not just parents dropping off kids, but also daily traffic both in and out of the Moira area, we were restricted as to what we could achieve in the limited time and space available to us. The McAvoy Group brought us a wonderful solution to our problem creating a 2000 Sq Ft building, most of which was built off site and delivered to our door for the finishing touches.”

The new building provides space for two additional rooms and houses a playgroup which operates from 9am to 11.30am every morning and pre-school children aged three and four and a separate room for school aged children from P1 to P7.

Little Rays Nursery, Moira will be hosting an open evening on Wednesday, December 18 from 7pm to 8pm, so please come along and see what is on offer, private veiwings by apointment are also encouraged.
