PART-time study is opening the door every year to new and enhanced career opportunities and skills for thousands of people in Northern Ireland.

Southern Regional College is one of the province’s main providers of part-time education courses, with a vast range of subjects and qualifications to meet the ever-growing demand for this type of study.

The convenience of evening courses as well as part-time day courses caters for the lifestyle of so many groups of people for whom full-time education is not an option.

From those wanting to acquire new skills or add to existing skills to enhance their career prospects, to mothers wanting to re-enter the workforce or people who simply seek to pursue a new hobby, there is something for everyone at SRC.

A comprehensive range of courses are available across SRC’s six campuses in Armagh, Banbridge, Kilkeel, Lurgan, Newry and Portadown.

The College continues to work closely with the local communities in each of its areas and to this end new ways of accessing part-time education are constantly evolving.

You can learn at one of the many SRC centres or as part of the College’s thriving Business Support Centre, learning while at work with a bespoke course designed to suit individual requirements.

And if these vehicles don’t suit, there is also the option to study online or at home through SRC’s Blended Learning programme.
