Friends of the Park seeking members
Local community group Friends of the Park want to hear from local residents who would be interested in joining their group.
The constituted group represents a wide and varied range of park users, for example different age groups, users of the various facilities in the parks, and local residents. They can also apply for funding and sometimes organise events for the community.
They hold regular meetings to discuss the park and any issues which may be affecting it. The next meeting is Wednesday, June 28, at 7pm in the Cricket Pavilion and any new members would be warmly welcomed. For more information contact Leanne McShane on 07766 740427 or come along on the night.
