CONRADH na Gaeilge An Lorgan Irish language school recently held their annual 'Oiche Bhronnadh' (presentation dinner).
This was only their second such event in recent times which is held in recognition of all their students and members who have gained qualifications and awards in the Irish language.
Since they began to offer accreditation to their students three years ago over 70 ‘foghlaimeori’ (learners) have graduated with a recognised qualification.
The Conradh has also recently attracted people from other nationalities including Dutch, Spanish and French nationals.
This year’s event was held in the Stables Bar and presentations were made by Ruairi Blaney from Lurgan who sits on the committee of Comhaltas Uladh.

Conradh na Gaeilge An Lorgan congratulated all those students who were successful in their respective achievements and wished luck to those who recently completed exams and those who have exams forthcoming.
Registration for the new year and classes begins again in September 2008 and everyone is welcome.
Their next event is the annual Siul Fada sponsored walk on Thursday, June 5 at 7pm from Clan na Gael’s Davitt Park to Craigavon Lakes and back. Sponsor forms are available at the Gaelaras Ailf Ui Mhuiri in North Street.
