Neighbourhood Watch sets up on Facebook

Waringstown Neighbourhood Watch has joined Facebook recently. Its page is already being used by the local community. The Management Group is hopeful that it will be another good communication tool in the furtherance of its IT and Communications Strategy which includes its extensive website at www.wnw.org.uk .
Unfortunately there was a slight error in the website address included in a recent Lurgan Mail article which was due to a mistake by the WNW spokesman in his press release. The Management Group spokesperson regrets the omission and for any inconvenience caused.
Friends can watch for alerts on WNW page and are directed to the website where more detailed information is made available. The WNW Management urges the Waringstown community with computer access to sign up as friends of WNW; thus signalling their support for a very successful scheme. It will also enable them to keep up to date with incidents and to pass on the information quickly to their neighbours, especially those who are vulnerable.
