Major traffic disruption is expected in the Craigavon area next week with the start of a new road improvement scheme.
The £130,000 Roads Scheme project will include works between roundabouts D and E in Central Craigavon.
According to Roads Service, approximately 470 metres of the Brownlow Road, between roundabouts D and E will be resurfaced as part of the programme.
The works will also include the resurfacing of roundabout E, according to Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy who approved the work.
As a result of the scheme, it will be necessary to close this portion of Brownlow Road from Monday, January 20 until Tuesday, February 4.
While the works are in progress, traffic will be diverted via Knockmenagh Road, Mandeville Road, Lake Road, Drumgor Road and Moyraverty West Road. These roads will be clearly signed.
