Cars damaged in hit and run incidents

A DANGEROUS driver is understood to have caused damage to three vehicles in Mourneview resulting in one girl being taken to hospital.

Police in Craigavon are appealing for information following two hit and run collisions in the Pollock Drive and Princeton Drive areas.

At around 10.10pm last Wednesday a dark coloured car, possibly a Citroen Saxo, was in collision with a white Citroen car on Pollock Drive, close to the mini roundabout.

The dark car drove on while the white car sustained considerable damage and an 18-year-old girl was taken to hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

At 10.18pm it was reported that two vehicles on Princeton Drive had been damaged. A loud bang was heard at around 9.55pm and it was subsequently discovered that a dark blue Landrover and silver Peugeot 206 were damaged. It is believed the damage was caused by another car.

Police are investigating a possible link between the two incidents and would appeal to anyone with information to contact them on 0845 600 8000. If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
