A COACH has been gutted after it was hijacked and set alight in Lurgan.

At around 10pm on Sunday night a man dressed in black with a firearm hijacked the coach on the Tandragee Road.

The vehicle was set on fire. The NI Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire.

Two people were seen making off from the vehicle on foot, towards Ardowen.
