Men remain in critical condition

THE two Lurgan men knocked down in Belfast nearly two weeks ago remain in a critical condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital.

Tony McCabrey and Davie McNeill were knocked down close to Central Station on Friday, February 15. The music-loving friends were on their way to see the Fureys in the Waterfront Hall.

They were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit shortly after being involved in the accident which happened at around 7pm. At the time of going to press a spokesperson for the Royal said the men’s conditions were still critical.
