Missing child ‘home safe and well’

A SIX-year-old Lurgan boy who had been feared missing has turned up safe and well, police have confirmed.

The boy, who is understood to be from the Burchdale Manor area, was reported missing yesterday (Thursday) at 7pm.

Officers conducted a search of the area and door-to-door inquiries in a bid to locate the young boy, however a police spokeswoman confirmed to the Lurgan Mail that the child was safe and well.

“The child returned to his home at midnight, safe and well,” she said.
