New build for schools

THE Education Minister has announced that St Michael’s, St Mary’s and St Paul’s schools are to benefit from a new school build on a single site.

The proposed amalgamation of the three Lurgan schools has been discussed for a number of years.

Today the plans became reality when Education Minister John O’Dowd announced that 22 school building projects would proceed as part of a potential £220 million investment.
