Police issue appeal after two burglaries
POLICE in Lurgan are appealing for information following burglaries at two properties in the Magheralin area.
On Thursday, 6 September, it was reported that entry had been gained to two vacant properties in Lurgan Road and Damhill Road.
In both houses radiators had been removed from the walls. It is believed the radiators were left to be collected at a later time or date.
Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any activity around these properties to contact them in Lurgan on 0845 600 8000. If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police are also reminding residents to remain vigilant of suspicious activity.
“You know your own neighbourhood best so if you notice any vehicle or any type of activity which looks out of place, contact police immediately. We would rather check out information that turns out to be innocent than miss an opportunity to apprehend criminals,” said a police spokesman.
