Police to probe possible town assault

POLICE are probing the possible assault of a man somewhere between Lurgan and Moyraverty.

The 18-year-old left licensed premises in William Street, Lurgan around 12.20am on Friday to make his way to Moyraverty.

“He began walking and travelled in a taxi for some of the journey. He arrived in Moyraverty around 2am and had sustained injuries to his face and bruising to his body,” said a PSNI spokesperson.

Police said the man believes he was assaulted sometime between leaving Lurgan and arriving at Moyraverty.
