Two bailed over Codie dog attack

TWO men arrested in connection with the attack on Cody the collie dog in Maghaberry have been released on bail.

The two men, both aged 21 years old, were arrested on Tuesday.

They have both been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Cody, owned by the Agnew family, was doused in a flammable liquid and set alight in the Maghaberry Road area of Lisburn on Sunday, 26 August.

The family pet is making progress at the vets with the help of strong pain relief.
