Yacht runs aground

A YACHT ran aground close to the entrance of Kinnego Bay on Lough Neagh.

Lough Neagh Coastguard was tasked to Phil Roes Flat on Saturday September 8.

Kinnego Lifeboat refloated the vessel and escorted her back to Kinnego Marina.

On arrival it was found that the vessel was taking on water so it was directed to moor up to the shallow shore jetty as a precaution.

The owners details were taken and advice given.
