UP and coming Lurgan band Last Minute Earl are to play at the Christmas Extravaganza in the town’s central plaza later this month.
The concert, which will feature X-Factor finalists The Risk, will take place on Saturday, December 17.
Band members Shawn Morrow, James McNeice, Criostoir McConville, Joseph Balmer and Christopher Mills are currently working on an EPL, which is due to be released in January.
“This is a great opportunity for us,” said lead singer and guitarist Shawn.
“There will be a big crowd in Lurgan and I’m sure it will be a great night”.
The five piece band started playing together seven months ago and have been going from strength to strength since then.
Following the successful release of his first EP ‘Found Something’, Shawn teamed up with James, Criostor, Joseph and Christopher to take his music in a different direction.
“It’s a lot more upbeat than some of my other stuff,” he said.
“We played at the Christmas lights switch on in the town centre, and we really enjoyed it.”
The band’s main influences include Stevie Ray Vaughn and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
