“They (the PSNI) have found a suspicious object in the graveyard and are hoping to deal with it as soon as possible.”

Several Land Rovers are at the entrances of St Coleman’s Graveyard from early this morning.

However those who wish to visit graves can enter the graveyard at the side entrance.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police are currently in attendance at a security alert at a cemetery in the North Circular Road area of Lurgan.

“There are no further details at this stage.”
