A man from the Republic of Ireland has been charged with taking part in an un-notified procession which took place in Lurgan’s Kilwilkie estate last month.
The man was one of several people arrested following a parade by Republican Sinn Fein and the official opening of a memorial garden to 1916.
Seamus Raymond Byrne (51), The Orchard, Ardee, appeared today (Wednesday) at Craigavon Magistrates Court.
The charge against him alleges that he took part in an un-notified procession on May 28 this year.
When it was put to him he said that he understood the charge.
A police officer said that he believed he could connect the defendant with the charge.
The prosecution asked for the case to be adjourned until July 20 so that a full file could be obtained.
