When police stopped a van in Lurgan they found four men sitting in the front which only had three seats and another sitting in the rear surrounded by household goods.
Felix Connors (27), Old Bungalow, Inniscarty, was fined £75 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for using a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner.
He was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that on September 12 police stopped a Ford Transit van in Union Street.
The only way he could get out of the van was by climbing out over the front seats.
Mr Conor Downey, representing the defendant, said his client had travelled from County Wexford to be in court. He accepted what he did was wrong, added Mr Downey.
