Man in critical condition after stabbing in Craigavon

A man in his 20s is in a critical condition after he was stabbed in the Craigavon area last night.

Police in Craigavon have arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon following a stabbing incident in the Clanrolla Park area on Thursday 25th February.

Police said: “The incident happened at around 7pm when a man aged in his twenties sustained a number of stab wounds following an altercation involving the driver of a dark coloured car.

“The man was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains in a critical condition.

“The suspect was arrested in the Dungannon area and is currently in custody assisting officers with their enquiries,” said a PSNI spokesperson.
