A new MINI One three-door hatchback in electric blue has been unveiled as the top prize in Southern Area Hospice Services’ annual car raffle.

The racy model, with its bonnet stripes and chequered roof, was on display at the raffle’s launch at David Prentice Mini, Portadown.

The winner will also receive one year’s free insurance up to the value of £500, sponsored by Autoline Insurance.

Over the coming weeks, the car will be on view in High Street Mall, Portadown; The Mall Shopping Centre, Armagh; Tesco Craigavon and Buttercrane, Newry,

Tickets, priced £1, will be on sale at these venues and at Southern Regional College. The draw takes place in Buttercrane on October 31.

Lisa Mulkerns, from the hospice, thanked the local community for their ongoing support, saying, “It is only through the generosity of local people that this event is made possible every year.

“It will take £2.38 million in 2015 to keep Southern Area Hospice Services operating at its current level.”
