OVER the course of November several men about the town will be ‘growing a mo for a bro’.
To put that in layman’s terms, they’ll be growing a moustache to raise funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer.
Among those taking part in Movember are Lurgan chef Liam McEvoy as well as Craigavon councillors Darryn Causby and Colin McCusker.
Also cultivating their whiskers for a good cause are Community Champion Andy White and staff from Tesco in Craigavon who have rechristened the store ‘Tesc-mo’.
Simon Wright and two fellow Sports Training Academy instructors are also putting all the efforts into Movember as are members of First Waringstown BB.
We hope to catch up this motley crew as well as other local Movember participants at the end of the month to see how they got on.
