‘Out on his ear’ if he’s found with drugs again

A 30 year old man has been warned that if he turns to drugs again he will be ‘out on his ear’ from the family home.

John Christopher Whitla, Meadowvale, Waringstown, appeared last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.

He was fined £150 for possession of a class A drug, cocaine, on December 17 last year and £100 for possession of a class B drug, cannabis, on the same date.

The court heard that a search uncovered a small quantity of the drugs which he said was for his own use.

A solicitor for Whitla said he was back in the family home but has been warned that if he offended with drugs again he was ‘out on his ear’.
