Almost £300 was paid in overtime to council workers to accommodate the ‘Lurgan Spectacular’ event.

The show, which hosted X-Factor finalists ‘The Risk’, was held last month.

Organisers requested that the public toilets on Castle Lane be kept open until 8.30pm on the night of the event, requiring two members of staff to work overtime.

This cost a total of £78.

Four litter pickers were also deployed on the night, costing £210.
