Pedestrian injured during hit and run

A man has been hurt during a hit and run near Lurgan.

Police are hunting for the driver of a white car which crashed into the pedestrian who suffered a broken arm.

Police said that around 3.25pm on Friday, 7 February, a Ford Focus, with colour coded wing mirrors, hit the pedestrian and the vehicle did not stop. A wing mirror was knocked off the car which continued driving from Gilford Road, through Lurgan town centre and into William Street.

Police are appealing to the driver of the Ford Focus or anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them. They are also keen to hear from anyone who has observed a white Ford Focus with a missing wing mirror driving in the area around this time. Police in Lurgan can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
