Plea for residents to search outbuildings

Police are asking Craigavon residents to search outbuildings and sheds for missing 24-year-old Francis Coleman.

Police have asked for help as the hunt for Fra Coleman enters its third day.

He was last seen in the Deansgrange area at around 7:10pm on Sunday 26th January.

Francis is described as being 6ft tall, of medium build with short dark brown hair and a birthmark on the left side of his face. When last seen he was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.

Police believe it is possible that Francis may take shelter wherever he can find it and are asking residents in the wider Craigavon area to check their outbuildings, sheds or any garden structures which may offer shelter.

Search and Rescue are being based at Drumgor Detached Youth Work Project at Moyraverty Community Centre. If anyone would like to volunteer and assist with the search of Francis Coleman please go in suitable warm clothing, and ask for Norman the team leader of Search and Rescue.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Francis is asked to contact police in Craigavon on 0845 600 8000.
