The Ancre Somme Association attended the launch last week of “The Third Home Rule Bill - The Unionist Response” and the Act of Rememberance at Glasnevin Cemetery and Museum in Dublin.

At the latter wreaths were laid by representatives of the French, German and British governments after Minister Jimmy Deenihan laid one for the Irish Government. This was followed by other dignatories and then the Unionist family.

Men and women dressed in period costume representing Carson’s Army, the UVF led the wreath layers from the 36th (Ulster) Division Memorial Association.
