Translink said engineers have fixed the railway barriers at Lurgan’s William St after lengthy delays at rush hour.
The PSNI had earlier urged motorists to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
This incident happened at 4.30pm this evening one of the busiest times of the day in Lurgan and there were long tailbacks.
It took two hours for engineers to fix the barriers, said a Translink spokesperson.
Two members of Translink staff manned the railway lines and allowed vehicles to cross the lines in a ‘controlled and safe’ manner.
Trains ran as normal.
