THE Southern Regional College open days will give potential students the opportunity to choose where they study and what they study.

It is a chance for students to do something that is of real interest and choose a course that can meet future career aspirations.

The creative students on the Lurgan Campus continually excel in their field with the degree in creative imaging last year achieving a 100% pass rate.

The ever popular hairdressing and beauty courses enable students to achieve on-hand experience with salons open to the public.

The campus also boasts a state-of-the-art gym for sports students to take advantage of the high spec equipment whilst gaining up-to-date industry knowledge.

Progression to university is available for Childcare students who undertake many of the qualification but also opens the door to a recognised qualification with which to enter the workplace.

Lurgan campus has quite a substantial cohort of full time students so it is a busy campus for most of the year.

This campus also hosts the ‘End of Year’ Art and Design show in May/June each year, where a range of the students art and design work goes on display to the public.

The campus also has many other amenities including a large sports hall, refectory and photography studio.

As a modern Further and Higher Education College, SRC makes every effort to ensure that its programmes offer clear progression pathways and are relevant for the world of work.

Courses range from those for the complete beginner through to postgraduate study in a wide range of subject areas and are delivered by expert tutors in a friendly learning environment.

The college also offers an excellent range of part- time courses, whether you are considering a course to further enhance your career, to update your skills, or simply for pleasure
