POLICE are investigating a disturbance in Kilwilke on Sunday night.

According to reports from local sources shots were fired.

It’s believed there was a falling out among members of the Travelling community living in the area.

Police are appealing for information following the incident in the Lurgantarry area of Lurgan last night, Sunday, July 29.

They were called to reports of a disturbance in the Bells Row Court area shortly before 8.15pm last night. Damage was caused to a residential property in the area and three males aged 16, 22 and 26 were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening. Police are investigating reports of shots having been fired during the incident.

Police are appealing for information regarding this incident. Anyone who was in the area or has any information is asked to contact police at Lurgan on 0845 600 8000 or call Crimestoppers in Confidence on 0800 555 111.
