The most magical time of the year is just around the corner and Rushmere is getting in on the celebrations with their festive lights switch-on,

Santa will be the extra-special guest, flicking the switch for the lights tonight (Thursday) at 6pm.

Christmas officially begins once Santa arrives in the mall and we have gone the extra mile to make this year’s Christmas light switch-on the best ever

Taking time out of his busy toy-making schedule, Santa will arrive, ready to take up official residency in the centre’s Snow House where he is inviting children of all ages to visit and receive a free festive chocolate lollipop.

A first of its kind this year, there will be up to 20 per cent off in selected stores between 6 and 9pm as part of the light ‘Switch-on Extravaganza’, starting the festive season with a bang. There will also be live entertainment throughout the evening in the mall for all shoppers to enjoy.

The excitement doesn’t end there, children will also be able to post their letters to Santa in the big red post box at the gate to his Snow House.
