THE annual bird fair saw thousands of people flock to Tannaghmore Gardens and Animal Farm.

They enjoyed a family day out before the kids went back to school.

With visitors arriving from all over the Borough and beyond, the day was a fantastic success with a multitude of events and activities to keep mums, dads and children entertained.

As well as a wonderful array of birds on show there was also a wide variety of exciting displays including a sheep dog display, archery, blacksmiths, chainsaw carving and stick carving.

There were also arts and crafts workshops, sports, climbing wall, the barn museum and of course the ever popular rare breeds farm, play park and maze.
