Southern Area Hospice Services are inviting volunteer hosts and hostesses throughout the region to hold coffee mornings in workplaces, homes and in local organisations in aid of their local hospice.
SAHS provides invaluable support and care to people, living within the Board Area, who are suffering from Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and other terminal illnesses. Their aim is to provide the best quality of life for patients and their families. All the services are provided free of charge and they rely heavily on voluntary donations to continue providing this special care.
Lisa Hamill Regional Marketing Officer at the Hospice stated: “I would like to pay tribute to all our coffee morning hosts who work so hard to support their local hospice, and would encourage new hosts to sign up.
“All you have to do is gather your friends or colleagues together for coffee generously donated by Bewley’s, and ask them to make a donation. As well as raising vital funds you’re sure to have plenty of craic and enjoyment too; there really is no reason not to sign up now! We need to raise £45,000 through coffee mornings this year, that’s enough to cover a full week of Hospice Care for our patients. To raise this we need 150 hosts so get in touch and get signed up!’
If Thursday 15th September doesn’t suit you, pick any date near to then that does – you will still be benefiting a very worthwhile cause in your local area.
Everyone is asked to get involved so contact Lisa on 028 3025 1333 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up and receive your special complimentary Bewley’s fresh ground coffee pack.
