Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society based at St Anthony’s Centre in Craigavon will be performing the family classic The Wizard of Oz this weekend.
The junior section of the drama society take to the stage this Friday (January 17) at 7.30pm, on Saturday at 3pm and on Sunday with two performances, one at 2pm and the final performance at 6pm.
Tickets are on sale at £5 from St Anthony’s Centre and Print Business Supplies, Lurgan or you can just come along and pay at the door.
A spokesperson for the society said: “We have a very talented cast with this produciton and they have worked hard over the Christmas period to make sure the show is up to the normal high standard associated with MADS.
“Lismore pupil Courtney Morgan will perform as Dorothy, Niall Conway will perform as the Scarecrow, Rebecca Ganley as The Tinman, Molly Liggett as the Cowardly Lion, Holly McConville as the Wicked Witch, Fionnuala Lennon as The Wizard and Caitlin McWilliams as Glinda. All these performers are very experienced having performed in various productions.
