A 23 year old woman who was ‘very aggressive’ in her driving was fined £250 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for driving without due care and attention on February 14 last year.
Stacey Richardson, Carnreagh, Craigavon, was also given six penalty points and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that the driver and her passenger had contacted police about an incident at Meadow Lane, Portadown.
They named the defendant as the other driver who had tried to cut them off as she followed them through Portadown.
When interviewed by police Richardson made no comment on CCTV coverage but the car shown was her vehicle. She said that allegations made were false.
Mr Gabriel Ingram, representing the defendant, said she accepted the manner of her driving was unacceptable.
District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said her behaviour was intimidating as well as being poor driving which had caused concern to the injured party.
He said it was ‘very aggressive and offensive driving’.
The judge added that he did not know what she had against the individual but she was fortunate she was not facing some additional offences.
