Workshops to get set for Halloween bash

Craigavon Borough Council’s annual arts festival, parade and fireworks display will be taking place on Thursday, October 30, at 8pm and in preparation, workshops will be starting on Saturday, September 27.

This year’s theme is Medieval monsters based on the phantasmagorical artworks of Hieronymus Bosch – a famous painter from the Middle Ages.

North Armagh Artist Collective will be doing sculpture and costume workshops for young people aged seven to 16 from 11am-4pm on Saturday September 27, Saturday, October 4, 11, 18 and 25 in the Artspace at Oxford Island.

Workshops will be £5 per person per day and family discounts will be available. There are also opportunities for GCSE or A’Level students who are interested in art, technology or design to become involved in this project – so get in touch to find out more!
