The SELB Craigavon Rural and Loughshore Youth Forum (CRLYF) has elected young adults from Craigavon Rural and Loughshore areas to represent their youth clubs and communities.

The main aim of the CRLYI is to provide rural young people with the opportunity to express and represent the views of their peers, develop links to enhance youth services within their community and the wider loughshore area.

The young people will become actively involved in their youth clubs and work together to organise Craigavon Rural & Loughshore combined youth events. The aim is to make a difference in the personal and social development of all young people.

A new element of the CRLYF was the election of the chairperson: Aoife Stones and secretary: Maura Robinson on the recent Rural Youth Forum & Young People Summer Camp to Shannaghmore Outdoor Education Centre, Newcastle .

The CRLYF group will be helped by SELB Rural & Loughshore Support Youth Workers during their two years tenure.

For further information about the CRLYF contact the support youth worker on 02838343259.
