The Young At Heart Men’s Club, Lurgan, is hosting a talk on diabetes in Waves Leisure Complex in the town tomorrow (Friday), commencing at 10am.

Florence Findlay-White, who is the national Care Advisor at Diabetes UK NI, will be giving the talk and answering questions.

The club will also have Alice McConville from town partner pharmacist McKeagney’s Pharmacy on hand to offer advice.

The meeting is open to all, and both men and women are welcome to attend. It is sure to be an informative talk with some key advice.

The Young At Heart Men’s Club, Lurgan, which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary next year, is a cross-community, multi-generational group of men, based in Lurgan.

The group exists to promote men’s fitness, health and general wellbeing.

The club will be holding an open day in Waves on Wednesday, August 28 from 10am to 2pm and anyone interested in becoming a member or wanting to find out more information about the club’s activities is encouraged to come along.
