Recent deaths in the local community

Leo Fegan passed away on June 19.

Leo was he dearly beloved husband of Anne, much loved father of Emma, Gillian, Leona, Una and David, beloved father-in-law of Garry, Darren, Justin and Paul, loving granda of Conan, Fionnuala, Eireann, Beibhinn, Blathnaid, Ben, Zoe, Zac, Claire and Niamh, and beloved brother of Jim, Donald and the late George.

His funeral was held on Tuesday, with Requiem Mass in St Peter’s Church followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Very deeply regretted by his loving wife, daughters, son, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brothers and family circle.

Dennis Blakely

Dennis Blakely passed away on June 20.

Dennis was the dearly-loved husband of Harriet and beloved father of Paul, Delmar and Linda.

His funeral took place on Thursday, with interment afterwards in Lurgan Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, son, daughters, daughter-in-law Joyce and grandchildren Lauren, Rachael and Christopher.

David Desmond (Dessie) Gregg

The death of David Gregg occurred on June 20.

Late of Waringstown, David was the beloved husband of Mina, much loved father of Caroline, father-in-law of Gary and dear Papa of Nathan and Zoe.

His funeral was held in Waringstown Presbyterian Church on Thursday, followed by interment in the adjoining burying ground.

Violet Appleton

Violet Appleton passed away on June 23.

Violet was the beloved wife of the late Edward and much loved mother of Geoff and Graham.

Her funeral took place on Monday, followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

James Connolly

The death of James Connolly occurred on June 24.

James was the dearly beloved husband of Margaret and much loved father of Brendan, Anne, Tony, Seamus, Imelda, Gerard, Sean and Eugene.

His funeral was held on Sunday, with Requiem Mass in St Paul’s Church followed by interment in St John’s Cemetery Lylo.
