The funeral, which was largely attended, took place at Waringstown Presbyterian Church where the Reverend Philip McConnell conducted the service.

The hymns 'Amazing Grace' and 'How Great Thou Art' were sung followed by internment in Kernan Cemetery Portadown.

Family flowers were placed on the grave and donations in lieu of flowers in aid of Craigavon Urology Research and Education should be sent to William Bell and Co. funeral directors, 23 Kenlis Street, Banbridge. BT32 3LR.

Cheques should be made payable to William Bell and Co.
