GERARD McMahon's testimonial game against St Johnstone on July 24 is set to be preceded, at 6.45pm, by a match between the 1992 Irish Cup winning Glenavon team and an Irish League Veterans XI.
That game will see the likes of Raymie McCoy, Stevie McBride, Tony Scappaticci, Geoff Ferris, Glenn Ferguson and Fintan McConville returning to Mourneview Park with the Glenavon team being managed by the 1992 boss, Alan Fraser.
Admission to the testimonial game will be £7 for adults and £3 for concession. Tickets will be available for the fixture and anyone who purchases a match ticket in advance of the game will be entered into a draw to win two tickets to the St. Johnstone v Rangers league game, a St Johnstone shirt worn and autographed by Gerard McMahon and a ball signed by the Glenavon first team.
Details of when and where the tickets will be available will be announced next week.
