LAST Saturday's friendly game against Bray Wanderers saw a renewing of friendships between Glenavon's Director of Football, Alan Fraser and Bray Wanderers' Manager Eddie Gormley.
During Fraser’s time as manager of Glenavon, he attempted to sign Gormley who was, at the time, returning home from a spell in England with Tottenham and Doncaster Rovers.

The Dubliner, however, chose to join St Patrick’s Athletic where he won the League Title and PFAI Player of the Year in the 95/96 season.

Fras, however, was the happier man last Saturday as his side’s 2-1 victory gave him some friendly revenge on the man who once turned him down!
